Anjali came to me feeling quite anxious about having her make up applied. She wasn’t used to wearing a lot of make up and wanted to feel like herself but a more special version. Anjali knew she was going to have yellow flowers and the one thing she felt very comfortable with was a strong lip so I had this in mind when I designed her wedding make up look. After a thorough consultation I learnt that Anjali wasn’t used to wearing a lot of make up. I decided to show Anjali how tinted moisturiser can look on the skin and a little concealer where required. If your skin is nice this can often be enough to create a little coverage and give a radiant glow to a brides skin. Anjali didn’t feel like she was wearing make up and loved the natural look it gave her. I then slightly defined her eyes, enough for them to stand out in the photos but still so Anjali felt like herself. We tried a few lipstick shades and settled on this lovely red with a yellow undertone that lifted her complexion beautifully. Because her dress was strapless she decided she would feel more comfortable with her hair half up . I left a few pieces out to frame her face, leaving a little wave in them to create interest and movement to the style. Hair & make up by Claire Nicole Personally
