Kate lives in Gibralter and so planned her wedding from overseas, we had a lovely chat on the phone and Kate decided to come and see me quite early on for her Design appointment. Kate originally came with a vision for her hair to be very classic and smooth, so I created a look that was low, clean and timeless. Kate has lovely skin so I emphasised her natural glow using highlighters on her cheek bones. I used warm browns on her eyes defined with a thin liquid black eyeliner, which came together and perfectly accentuated her natural eye colour, and also worked with the bridesmaids dresses. A few weeks before the wedding Kate decided to try another hair style that she felt was more relaxed, so we met for another Design appointment and although she had loved the first look she loved this one more. I gave Kate a side parting again, but with less height than the last style, the back was in complete contrast to the first styles clean lines and smooth finish; Kate had chosen a more messy textured style that she felt was more the look that she wanted to go for on her big day. Both hair styles looked great on Kate but the 2nd made her feel more comfortable. Which is extremely important on your wedding day. Sometimes my clients tell me on their wedding day they have decided on a new look, its really no problem  for me, I go with the flow; as long as it is achievable with the hair length and thickness and as long as my bride is happy, then I am! Working with Kate and her Mum Celia was an absolute pleasure. I had a few thank you notes from Kate and her Mum and the one that touched me the most was that Kate wrote to me on her honeymoon to say thank you as she was so happy with everything.
